Acting on behalf of Finishadapt, our Building Consultancy was appointed to prepare an Assessment of Dilapidations in advance of lease expiry to advise on their likely Dilapidations liability and to prepare a strategy to mitigate moving forwards.

Acting in advance of lease expiry allowed us to prepare our Assessment and negotiate a Dilapidations settlement well in advance of lease expiry enabling our client to mitigate their loss and also provide a clean and quick Dilapidations exit without the hassle or residual risk which comes with undertaking the Dilapidations works themselves to comply with their lease.

In tandem, we were also appointed to provide Acquisition advice on their new unit which involved the preparation of a Schedule of Condition to mitigate against any future Dilapidations liability they could inherit prior to taking on the new lease.
